I'm recording my lectures on a Chromebook in developer mode and crouton. I use ssh to move my lectures off the tablet and to this website after I get done with class. If I forget, just email me a reminder.
Using Chromebooks with Crouton is the best Linux on a laptop solution I've used so far. The laptops tend to be very well built and because they already run the Linux kernel (ChromeOS is really just a Linux environment) it works well. Using a chroot to get an entire distribution like Ubuntu is a quick and stable solution for anyone interested in Linux.
